Nobody moves faster from one relationship to the next than a narcissist. This isn't because they're passionate or romantic-it's because they're incapable of true love and genuine commitment.


For a narcissist, relationships are a source of supply: admiration, attention, control, and validation. Once the newness fades or they feel challenged, they lose interest quickly. Instead of working through problems, they discard their current partner and immediately seek a new target to fill the emptiness inside.


This rapid switching isn't about connection or loyalty. It's about maintaining power and feeding their ego. They don't form real emotional bonds because empathy and care aren't part of their makeup. Their focus is always on what they can get, not what they can give.


If you've experienced this, you may feel confused or betrayed by how quickly they move on. Understanding the narcissist's mindset helps you realise it's not about you-it's about their endless need for supply and control.
