If you've been abused by a Narcissist
When someone's manipulated your reality, your self-worth, and your entire sense of safety, it's no wonder everything feels confusing.
But clarity is the first step to healing, and it's not found in overthinking, it's found in truth.
Stop trying to understand them
The more you try to make sense of their cruelty, the more you delay your healing. Narcissists don't hurt you because you did something wrong. They hurt you because chaos gives them control.
Validate your experience
Gaslighting makes you doubt what happened. Write it down, speak it aloud, and surround yourself with people who believe you. Clarity begins where self-doubt ends.
Let go of the apology you never received
Waiting for them to admit it only keeps you stuck. You don't need closure from them. You need peace for yourself.
Learn how trauma impacts perception
The nervous system holds on to survival patterns. That fog you feel? That's your brain trying to protect you. But once you see it, you can begin to shift it.
Replace blame with self-compassion
You didn't choose abuse. You trusted, you loved, you gave.
That doesn't make you weak, it means you're human.
Create meaning from the pain
Clarity comes when you realise your pain isn't your identity. It's a chapter, not your whole story.
You don't need to fix everything at once. You just need to start telling the truth, to yourself, for yourself.
