When Narcissist words don't add up- The truth is left out of the Equation

Sometimes their words don't add up because they have left the truth out of the equation. Narcissists often manipulate reality to suit their needs, omitting key facts or twisting details. 

This selective storytelling confuses and misleads, making it hard for others to trust what they say. When confronted, they may avoid answering directly or change the subject to keep control.


Leaving the truth out is a tactic to maintain power and avoid accountability. By withholding important information, they shape perceptions to protect their image and keep others off balance. 


This makes it difficult for victims to understand what really happened, leading to self-doubt and confusion.


Recognising when someone is leaving out the truth is essential for protecting yourself. Trust your instincts—if things don't add up, pay attention. Ask direct questions and look for consistent actions, not just words. Remember, honesty is a foundation of healthy relationships, and withholding truth is a red flag.


You deserve clarity and respect. Don't accept half-truths or omissions that leave you feeling uncertain.
