The Same Person Who Wronged You Is Now Playing the Victim

One of the most frustrating experiences in life is watching those who hurt you twist the story to make themselves the victim. These individuals are masters at rewriting history to suit their narrative. Rather than taking responsibility for their actions, they distort events, painting themselves as innocent and you as the villain.

This tactic serves multiple purposes. First, it protects their ego by allowing them to avoid guilt or accountability. Second, it manipulates others into sympathising with them, often turning mutual friends or family members against you.

Suddenly, you find yourself isolated, defending your truth while they gather support through deception.

Their ability to rewrite the past can leave you doubting yourself.

You may start questioning your memories, wondering if you overreacted or misunderstood the situation. This is exactly what they want-control over the narrative and your emotions.

The best way to deal with this is to stand firm in your truth.

You don't need to convince anyone who is willing to believe lies.

Focus on your own healing and surround yourself with people who know your character. In the end, the truth has a way of revealing itself, no matter how much they try to bury It.
